We hope to attract rather sizable investments - says Bakhtadze before Davos

Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia will hold official visit to World Economic Forum at Davos. Before his departure to Switzerland Bakhtadze said that he hopes to attract investors with Georgia's investment capabilities. 

According to the press office of Government, Bakhtadze will have "significant meetings with political and business leaders."

"We will have an official visit to Davos to participate in the World Economic Forum. Very important meetings will be held with political and business leaders. We already have specific negotiations with several very significant corporations and hope to attract rather sizable investments as a result of these meetings in Davos to our national economy," - noted the Prime Minister of Georgia.

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Alpine resort of Davos will begin on January 22 and end on January 25, 2019.

During the meeting, CEOs of multinational corporations, world leaders and A-list celebrities will discuss a range of topics such as the global economy, commodity prices and environmental issues.

Attendees take part in panel discussions, on-stage interviews and listen to keynote speeches.
