Total number of people using Private Pension Insurance in Georgia is 23 076, which, according to the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia, is 615 persons more than in Q1 2017. During this period of time, pension contributions made 1,4 mln GEL, while total pension reserve is 26,8 mln GEL.
Two insurance companies offer citizens pension insurance – Aldagi and GPI Holding. There is also one Private Pension fund, created by SakAeroNavigatsia for its employees.
Aldagi has 10 154 clients and GPI Holding – 12 393, while Sakaeronavigatsia’s pension scheme involves 529 people. As of Q1, total investment income generated from money accumulated in pension funds made 508 000 GEL.
