It may well be that Rixos Hotel is not opened in Tbilisi and the hotel being constructed in Gudiashvili Street is managed by some other operator, - this was told to BM.ge by the President of the Israel-Georgia Chamber of Business and the founder and Chair of Israeli House Itzik Moshe. Moshe didn’t mention any reasons for that, however, he stated that in December 2018, the hotel will be opened officially. Currently, internal works are being performed. Investment value of the project is 45 mln USD. The hotel was supposed to be opened in 2016 and it is being constructed with Israeli-Georgian joint investment.
The hotel will have 150 rooms. The project is being implemented by City M Company.
Rixos has left the hotel in Borjomi. To buy out the Borjomi-Likani hotel from Kazakh management costed Georgian party up to 10 mln USD.
