4.10.2018 - Bahrain has simplified the procedure for issuing visas to citizens of Georgia. From 4 October they will be able to enter Bahrein by electronic visas or get visas at the border.
The decision was preceded by a bilateral meeting between the Georgian Foreign Minister, David Zalkaliani and the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
Active negotiations are underway on the visa-free agreement for holders of diplomatic and service passports
The decision to simplify the visa regime for the citizens of Georgia will contribute to the development of political and economic relations between the countries and enhance mutual cooperation in the field of tourism and innovation.
