The distribution right for Georgian animation film Jino was sold in Japan, Korea, France, Spain and USA.
The parties have already signed contracts. Distribution of Jino will start soon and the screening schedule will be concluded in Disney Cinema, Los Angeles.
Jino is the first Georgia 3D animation, which was produced with the support of the Georgian National Film Center.
The film is about the adventures of Jino Hoptoad and his neighbors, which because of construction around the lake are forced to forget about different standpoints and jointly fight to rescue their common house.
Jino is one of the most successful Georgian animation. Its premier was performed within the framework of Annecy International Film Festival Competition Program and since then has obtained multiple prestigious international awards. The recent award is connected to one of the widest-scale Asian animation film festival ICFF, where Jino received the Grand Prix of the Festival.
