TBC to Sue for Defamation

The Director-General of TBC bank, Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, spoke about allegations against the founder of Omega Group, Zaza Okuashvili, and the plans to sue for defamation during a recent press conference. “We are in a process of gathering documents and will submit them to the court” – stated Butskhrikidze.

After the briefing, the head of the bank’s legal department, Eka Egutia, also confirmed that statement. According to her, TBC has 90 days to sue. The bank is in the process of assembling the necessary documents and it is yet unknown exactly when the suit against Zaza Okuashvili will be submitted to the court.
