According to the Georgian National Tourism Administration the number of tourists went up by 14.0% YoY in November 2018. Same day trips decreased by -5.9% YoY. Total number of visitors was 5.8% higher. From the perspective of country groups, growth rate of visitors was highest from the EU (+35.5% YoY). Visitors also went up from CIS (+8.9%) while declined from other countries (-3.0% YoY) mostly driven by decreasing number of visitors from Turkey (-17.4% YoY). At the same time, number of visitors increased from Iran by 18.2% YoY, following the declining tendency over the last 5 months.
