Founder of TBC Bank, Mamuka Khazaradze has written a letter to the employees of TBC Bank. The letter reads as follows:
“Dear friends,
Throughout 29 years of the history of our business, it is the first time that we are under such attack and pressure from the side of state agencies. This is an orchestrated attack, the aim of which is to remove me and Badri [deputy chair of TBC Bank’s supervisory board] from the work to which we’ve dedicated 27 years of our life together with you. Their another aim is to blame us in the criminal activity, money laundering and to take away our company.
We cannot let this happen!
Our team is the example of success in the history of independent Georgia. Together we created this team of professionals with unique culture, realtions and traditions. They want to divide and tear apart this team today.
We cannot let this happen!
Today, more than ever, our only chance is to stand together, as this fight will not be short. We need bravery and resistance.
