Kutaisi Technological University Will Start Accepting its First Surge of Students in 2020

The Kutaisi Technological University will start accepting the first surge of students in 2020 – Nikoloz Chkhetiani, the chair of the Cartu Foundation told bm.ge. According to him, at this stage the construction works are on-going and the first part will be completed in 2020. "As part of the first phase, several study buildings will be constructed with own halls of residences and the necessary infrastructure including Sports and Leisure spaces” – announced Mr. Chkhatiani. The chair of the foundation states that the cost of the work of the initial phase will come to several hundred million dollars, and the overall project is worth half a billion dollars. As part of the first surge of students at the Kutaisi University, several thousand students will be accepted on the faculties of Maths, Information Technologies, and Management. Education School will also be opened. Later on, additional faculties will also be introduced at the University.
