The Parliament is in the process of deliberating banning advertisement for gambling. During the first hearing, the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee discussed the legislative amendments about advertising. According to the amendments, advertising gambling will be banned in religious, educational, and/or medical institutions as well as in the cultural and/or sports organisations.

In addition, advertising is to be prohibited within the 200 meter radius of the above-mentioned entities. The draft bill also bans advertising gambling on the television, radio, internet, and in print media as well as through other communications medium except when sponsoring sports programmes and/or during reporting. In the case of sponsorships, only the name of the enterprise and the logo of the entity is to be displayed. The draft amendment prohibits placing any information on the buildings designated for gambling that exceeds 10 square meters.
