Georgia has hosted 305,939 tourists in January 2019. The number of tourists has increased by 5.9% compared to January 2018.
According to the data provided by the Ministry of Economy and National Tourism Administration (GNTA) foreign tourists have spent over $164.5 million in Georgia last month, which is 5% more than the income received in the same month of the last year.
In 2018 tourism has generated over $3.2 billion revenue for Georgian economy, which was $498 million more compared to 2017.
